Community Speedwatch Volunteers Needed!
Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership (LRSP) are offering to train volunteers to work as a team and monitor traffic as it passes through our Parish. The scheme involves being trained in the use of a hand held 'speed gun'. The data collected from the gun would be sent back to the LRSP who are able to send notices to motorists over the speed limit. We currently have three volunteers from the Parish Council. Without at least 6 volunteers the scheme will not be viable. If you are able to give some time to be trained (half a day) and to work as a team of three say once every 6 weeks to monitor traffic please contact Jill Moran the Parish Clerk on 07512 234965 or email clerkscopwick@gmail.com.
