Queen’s Platinum Jubilee: On Thursday 2nd June at 7pm we will hold a celebration of the changes and events during the 70 years of the Queen’s reign accompanied by music from each decade. A supper of royal dishes will be served. We will light the village beacon at 9.45pm along with others across the nation and the Commonwealth. There will be a bar for alcohol and soft drinks. On Sunday 5th June, there will be a road closure along Brookside and tables will be put out for everyone to bring a picnic along to our Big Jubilee Lunch.
Please don’t forget to get the bunting and flags out to help the village celebrate this historic event
